Skedulo Plus Product Extension - Self-scheduling

Enable resources to self-schedule jobs allocated to them in the mobile app.

Prerequisites

  • Administrators can install and configure mobile extensions.
  • Skedulo Plus app is enabled.
  • The skedulo-extension/self-scheduling-online package has been installed in your team. Contact your Customer Service Representative for more information about getting this extension installed.

Make the Self-scheduling form available on the mobile app

After your Skedulo CSR installs the exension in your team, it will be available in the Mobile extensions list. From there you can make changes if needed, or install it to make it available to resources on the Skedulo Plus mobile app.

To install the Self-scheduling extension, do the following steps:

  1. In the web app settings, navigate to Mobile app configurations > Mobile extensions.
  2. Click on the Self-scheduling extension name.
  3. Click Install. The extensions will be available on the mobile app within a few minutes.

If required, some changes can be made to the extension before it is installed. For details on what can be edited, please see the user guide article.

Access the extension (form) on the Skedulo Plus mobile app

To access the form after it has been installed, do the following steps:

  • Tap More, then tap Self scheduling.

Schedule a job that is allocated to you

Resources can schedule jobs that are allocated to them, but that do not currently have a start date and time.

To self-schedule a job, do the following steps:

  1. Tap More, then tap Self scheduling.
  2. Tap Unscheduled jobs.
  3. Tap the job you want to schedule.
  4. Select the date and time for the job to start.
  5. Click Back.

All the data is saved and the job is waiting for schedulers to dispatch.

To reschedule jobs

Resources can schedule jobs allocated and dispatched to them that currently do not have a start date and time.

To reschedule a job, do the following steps:

  1. Tap More, then tap Self scheduling.
  2. Tap Scheduled jobs.
  3. Tap the job you want to schedule.
  4. Select the date and time to schedule your job.
  5. Click Back.

All the data is saved and you can see the job on the Agenda screen.
